Pianist Seth Trumbore will present a recital featuring the works of Bach, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms and Strauss. It will be an exploration of the evolution of German classical music from the early 18th century to the late 19th century.
Seth Trumbore received his B.M. in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from Temple University where he studied with Harvey Wedeen. His graduation honors include the Jacobs Music Company Steinway Award and the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges award. Seth received chamber music training from the Settlement Music School under Sidney and Shirley Curtiss. Currently, he serves as assistant organist at Church of the Holy Spirit in Harleysville, he is staff accompanist and adjunct piano professor at Ursinus, and works as a vocal coach at Westminster Choir College.
The Ursinus College Department of Music offers a wide range of free musical performances throughout the spring. Parking is be available on concert days in the visitor’s lot at Corson Hall off the Main Street entrance to the college.
