DESCRIPTION:After years of planning\, building and preparation the General Carl Spaatz National USAAF Museum will open on Saturday\, October 2nd. Ceremonies begin at 10 am with live music from the 40"s era and display of military vehicles. The ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 11:00. The museum will open for self-guided tours after the ceremonies. \n\nOn Sunday\, the 3rd the museum will begin it's normal schedule hours from 10:00 - 4:00\, with reservation only "Interactive Tours" at 10 & 1. Interactive tours require reservations and advance ticketing.
