DESCRIPTION:The Montgomery County Commission on Women and Families celebrates women and their accomplishments each year at this event.  This year's theme is "Working to Form a More Perfect Union: Honoring Women in Public Service and Government" featuring keynote speaker Valerie A. Arkoosh\, MD\, MPH\, Vice Chair\, Montgomery County Board of Commissioners.\n\n\n\nThis year's honoree is Martha (Marcy) D'Orazio\, Assistant Warden\, Montgomery County Correctional Facility.\n\n\nA portion of the proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Commission's Women's Educational Scholarships.\n\n\n\nThe mission of the Montgomery County Commission on Women and Families(MCCWF) is to foster leadership\; provide awareness of existing services\; promote development of resources and advocate equal access to such resources in order to enhance the lives of women and families.\n\n\n\nThe Scholarship Fund is managed by The Montgomery County Foundation\, Inc.\n\nThe official registration and financial information of The Montgomery County Foundation\, Inc. may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll-free\, within Pennsylvania\, 1-800-732-0999.  Registration does not imply endorsement.  The Pension Protection Act of 2006 requires that we notify you that The Montgomery County Foundation\, Inc. has exclusive legal control over the contributed assets.
