SUMMARY:FREE Scam Jam Event hosted by Senator Pennycuick
DESCRIPTION:I am working diligently to protect the residents of this Commonwealth from identity theft\, scams\, and fraud. Although crafting legislation is an important component\, public education is equally important. Therefore\, I am hosting a Scam Jam on July 11\, 2024\, at Encore Experiences in Harleysville\, PA\, from 9:30 11:30AM. It is a FREE event.\n\nThis program is designed to teach individuals how to identify and protect themselves from identity theft\, scams\, and fraud. In partnership with the PA Department of Banking and Securities\, it is a fun and informative session with guest speakers from the PA Attorney General's Office\, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office\, and the Lower Salford Police Department.\n\nAccording to the Federal Trade Commission\, consumers reported losing more than $10 billion to fraud in 2023. This marks a 14% increase over reported losses in 2022. \n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://senatorpennycuick.com/scamjam-registration/\n\n\n\n\n\nView Flyer here
