DESCRIPTION:For more than forty years\, Helping Hands has provided a safe\, social\, educational\, and stimulating environment and experience for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults. Helping Hands provides a safe space and subsequent programming to allow these adults to live their best everyday life with value. Our programs are designed around each individuals' needs to maximize the person's skills and abilities to his or her fullest potential and guide them to lead a meaningful life in the community.\n\n \n\nOur Adult Day Care Program provides daily activities and growth in independence. The Sheltered Workshop provides contract work for individuals wanting to earn wages. The Residential Group Homes provide a safe and caring home environment. The Camp/Shore and the Social Recreation Programs provide fun events and leisurely pursuits while providing respite for both the individual and their family.\n\n \n\nHelping Hands\, Inc. will be hosting our 11th Annual Basket Raffle Bingo fundraising event on October 8\, 2023 at East Greenville Fire Company to benefit our Socialization and Recreation and Summer Camp Programs.  This event includes a variety of home show party vendors\, as well as some local businesses who enjoy the opportunity to spend time within the community\, providing product samples\, and increasing their public business exposure. We will be playing 20 games of Bingo and giving Door Prizes throughout the day.  There will be a Basket Raffle\, and a 50/50 drawing.  \n\n \n\n \n\nPartners in the community are vital to help support each of our families. Your generosity will help ensure that our important programs meeting the needs of individuals and their families impacted by disabilities will be able to continue. We are asking for donations of items to be given as door prizes\, Bingo game prizes\, or items to be used in the Raffle Baskets. \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\nIf you are interested in being one of our on-site vendors\, please contact our office for further details.  \n\n \n\nIf you or your employees and/or their families would like to attend\, you may contact our office during regular business hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday for ticket reservations by contacting Wendy Miller for information regarding donations or ticket requests at (610) 754-6491 or send an email to \n\n \n\n wmiller@helpinghandsinc.com.
