We are kicking things off this fall with a Networking Day on October 28th designed to connect local employers with motivated high school seniors preparing to enter the workforce and/or going to school for your industry. \n\n \n\nThis is a unique opportunity for businesses to build early relationships with future talent\, share industry insights\, and spark interest in your career pathways. Whether you're looking to hire\, promote internships\, or simply support career readiness in your community\, JumpStart offers a direct line to the next generation of workers. Join us and help shape a pipeline of local\, career-ready talent right from the source. In April\, we plan on hosting a hiring event as well so you may have an opportunity to meet some of the individuals you could hire early.\n\n \n\nWhat do we need from you? : On the day of you will just need to be prepared to give a 5 minute elevator pitch on your industry and business on why seniors should look to become a part of your industry in the near or distant future. Seniors will have an interest in you\, have their resumes and give you their elevator pitch on why they'd be a good fit with your industry/business. You will have an opportunity to connect\, collect their resumes and share yours with them. There will be 4 rotations of 15 minutes each during the AM and PM sessions.\n\n \n\nOur goal is 100 students total over the two sessions (concluding at 12:45). \n\n \n\nConnect early.
