DESCRIPTION:Calling all animal lovers! 2015 will mark the fifth anniversary of the Pottstown Pet Fair\, and the event promises to be even bigger and better. The idea for the pet fair originated when employees in our Licensing and Inspections Department realized the need to bring attention to the homeless and neglected pets in our town. The 2014 Pet Fair attracted approximately 4\,000 people and had over 75 tables showcasing various shelters. Many animal adoption applications were completed\, and many animals found new homes. \n\n\n\nAs always we will feature a Blessing of the Animals\, rabies vaccination clinic\, canine agility demonstrations\, dog licensing clinic\, presentations on butterfly and bird gardens\, animal and veterinary care\, canine law enforcement\, storytelling\, face painting\, and animal adoptions. In honor of our fifth anniversary the Pet Fair Committee also has many exciting additions in mind. Admittance to the Pet Fair is free!
