Each session is designed so you walk away with a new skill not always a professional one and the opportunity to connect with other members in a relaxed environment.\n\n\n\n \n\nDesign & Laser Cut Your Own Night Light\n\n\n\nHave you ever wondered how makers and Etsy sellers create beautifully etched and intricate designs on wood or acrylic? We can share their secrets and teach you how to leverage technology to create these works of art! \n\n\n\nJoin us for an introduction to laser cutting where you will learn how to customize an existing image in design software along with the step-by-step process to prepare the file for cutting and/or etching! In this hands-on session\, we will guide you through the creation of a personalized acrylic night light or desk lamp and then send it to our laser cutter for your first etched prototype. A child may attend with a supervising adult if they are able to remain seated and engaged for two hours\, use a computer mouse\, navigate software and web-based tools\, and follow adult instructions.\n\nYou will choose your own design and optional lettering. \n\n\n\nMust regiser - limited to 15 members!\n\n\n\nYou can bring your own lunch if you would like to!\n\n\n\nBerks LaunchBox\n\n201 Washington Street\, Suite 105\n\nReading\, PA 19601\n\n \n\nFree adjoining parking lot.
