DESCRIPTION:In a partnership with the Pennsylvania American Legion\, Rep. Toepel will be offering veterans affairs outreach hours in her district office at 1885 Swamp Pike\, Suite 107\, Gilbertsville\, on specific Wednesdays of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.\n\n \n\n\nA service officer from the American Legion Post 203\, Schwenksville\, will be available to assist veterans with a variety of issues.\n\nThe service officer will coordinate requests for assistance by veterans in:\n\n\n VA claims for disability compensation.\n Disability increase and rating decision appeals.\n Veteran or surviving spouse pension.\n Burial and death benefits.\n Addition of dependents.\n Dependency and indemnity compensation.\n Other veterans' benefits.\n\n\nVeterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion to receive services.\n\n\n \n\n\nAppointments are encouraged but not necessary. Please call Toepel's district office at (610) 323-3299 to schedule an appointment with the field service officer.
