DESCRIPTION:Birding is a great activity for nature-lovers of all ages! Staff from Green Valleys Watershed Association and naturalists from John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove & Valley Forge Audubon Society will introduce children to birding\, including how to use binoculars and field guides to spot and identify birds. Then we will walk through the fields and around the ponds of Welkinweir to test our new skills.\n\n\n\nWe will meet at Welkinweir's visitor parking lot off of Prizer Road. Please dress for the weather and for a hike on naturally surfaced paths that are steep in some places. Bring binoculars and field guides if you have them. Binoculars and field guides will be available to borrow. Ages 8-18.
