SUMMARY:Young Professionals: Thanksgiving Meal Distribution
DESCRIPTION:This event is for young professionals ages 21 - 40.\n\n\n\nTCACC Membership is not required for young professional events.\n\n\n\nJoin fellow young professionals for a few hours of volunteer service at Boyertown Area Multi-Service to distribute non-perishable\, pre-packaged Thanksgiving Meals. It is anticipated that there will be roughly 225-250 bags of food being distributed this afternoon.\n\n\n\nTasks available that day include:\n\n\n Traffic Directing\n Transport of Pre-Packed bags out back\n Client Check-In:\n \n If someone is a pantry client\, we need to mark off that they've received a meal.\n If someone is not already a pantry client\, they are required to fill out a TEFAP form for Multi-Service's records.\n \n \n Disbursement of Food:\n \n Someone on the back of the truck handing bags to those below.\n Or someone running turkeys from walk-in freezer inside\, as needed.\n \n \n Cardboard breakdown:\n \n Cases of turkeys or butter that need to be broken down as they come out of the freezer.\n \n \n\nWe are collecting items for the Thanksgiving Meal Distribution.
