DESCRIPTION:TriCounty Community Network (TCN) is hosting a free Youth Leadership Conference through its Build Up Youth program for middle school students.  The theme of this year's conference is ''Taking Control''.  There will be nine workshops offered focusing on topics such as: drug and alcohol abuse\, safe dating\, cyber-bullying\, starting your own business\, youth court\, social media\, saving energy at home\, how music can affect your choices\, and using dance to stay active and healthy. \n\nAfter the breakout sessions there will also be an opportunity for the students to participate in team-building activities.  Offering a fun\, interactive experience for the students\, the conference will feature an inspiring movie presentation on decision-making and our human potential. \n\nThis conference is free and open to middle school students.\n\nInterested schools and parents should contact TCN at 610-705-3301 ext. 2.
