Botany by Boat
Botany by Boat is a Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy event that has been treasured for several years. Botany by Boat participants have the chance to canoe or kayak in the beautiful Green Lane Reservoir while observing diverse plant life such as ripairan trees, shrubs, wildflowers, ferns, and aquatic plants. Susan Mrugal MS, RLA will be the guide. Ms. Mrugal is a wetland ecologist at Temple University. The fee for this event is $20 for members of the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy and $25 for nonmembers. Participants may also rent a boat for $30.
