Die Laughing Presents Barely Breathing

Unless someone you love is diagnosed, sarcoidosis is often an invisible battle. But for our family, and especially for Dan, it is a daily reality that changed our lives forever. Navigating this journey—from understanding the condition to facing the immense challenges of the lung transplant list—has shown us just how fragile, and how incredibly precious, every single breath is.

When you are fighting a rare disease, you can easily feel like you're stranded on an island. That is exactly why the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research means the world to me. FSR is the lifeline that funds critical research, connects patients with expert care, and ensures that no family has to face this diagnosis in the dark.

Because of FSR, there is a community. Because of FSR, there is hope for better treatments, better outcomes, and one day, a cure.

We are fighting for more time, more laughs, and more milestones with the people we love. But researchers can't find answers without funding.
