Fall Preschool Science Classes
Join us at the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy as we make friends with the trees, the tallest plants around! We’ll learn what helps a tree grow while we play games with, and among the trees. Everyone makes a storybook about their tree friend to keep!
This series of four classes will be held on Mondays, September 13, 20, 27, and October 4, from 9:30 – 11:00 am and is designed to offer you the perfect blend of exploration, and activity. An exciting fall season is fast approaching! Migration is ‘on’, and the fields are electric with the sounds of insects. It’s a wonderful time to set out with our young ones to learn, and explore the world outside their door.
We meet at the Conservancy’s brownstone barn located just outside Schwenksville at 1 Skippack Pike. In addition, our classes will feature songs, discovery walks, activities, games, crafts, snacks, and wonderful stories! Following class, preschoolers and their adults are invited to play in our Children’s Discovery Room full of wildlife costumes, puppets, stuffed animals, and hands-on exhibits.
Pre-registration with payment required. Fee: $40 Members/$45 Non-Members. Register early as class fills quickly!
