Honoring the White Caps of Pearl Harbor
The white caps distinguished the contributions of our military nurses in World War II. Learn more about their sacrifices during a free presentation, “The White Caps of Pearl Harbor,” at Keystone Villa at Douglassville, Independent Living building, on Friday, May 19, at 2 p.m. Special guest Winifred Foster Woll tells the story of her mother, 2nd Lt. Teresa Stauffer Foster, and the hundreds of other women who cared for the wounded in the attack on Pearl Harbor that ushered the U.S. into World War II.
