Horseshoe Crabs and Shorebirds of the Delaware Bay

Father and daughter Ron and Lily Smith share their work on behalf of the horseshoe crabs and migratory shorebirds in the Delaware Bay. Rising from a deep concern for the fragile interrelationships between species and the impact of human behavior, their citizen science project now tracks data and informs the scientific community. Status updates regarding the health of the ecosystem and preservation efforts will be presented.
