Independence Day Program
Independence Day at the Daniel Boone Homestead will be celebrated on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Plan to spend the day with us; bring a picnic for the picnic grove. Members of the 1st PA Regiment will be on hand to discuss the militia and the Continentals during the Revolutionary War. Gun building and blacksmithing will be demonstrated as well as textile processing. Boone House tours will be available and children can participate in a militia muster using dummy guns.
