Montgomery County Community College Pottstown Campus Spring Open House
Springtime is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time of year to learn all that Montgomery County Community College has to offer. MCCC is proud to host free open house events at the Pottstown Campus on Saturday, April 12, and Blue Bell Campus on Saturday, April 26, for prospective students, their families and members of the community. The Pottstown Campus spring open house is on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon in the South Hall Student Commons, 101 College Drive, Pottstown. During the morning, deans from each academic division will provide program updates, as well as information for students who are undecided about a major. Prospective students and their families will also receive information on topics like Financial Aid, Support Services, Academic Programs, Workforce Development, and Transfer Partnerships. Visit the landing page to register for the event. MCCC also welcomes employers and employees to the open houses to learn more about its 100+ programs, flexible schedules and online learning. Through MCCC’s Prior Learning Assessment, working students may qualify for credits or waiver of courses, depending on experience and training, allowing them to get a head start on earning an associate’s degree. Guests to the open house will also have an opportunity to explore Pottstown Campus’s newly renovated facilities, which includes the Mustangs eSports arena, game room, fitness center, and the Science on a Sphere exhibit, as well as the nearby classrooms and labs in South Hall. In North Hall, guests can tour the Sound Recording and Music Technology studio, theater, machine shop and Wellness Center, which features an array of free, holistic support services for students. At both the Blue Bell and Pottstown campuses, guests should connect with the check-in-staff upon arrival to obtain their free swag bag, as well as instructions on how to best maximize the day. Also, there will be breakout sessions during each event to discuss financial aid, college affordability, scholarships and more.
