New World Recorders
New World Recorders serve up Henry Purcell’s richly varied contributions to the intensely contrapuntal world of the English consort fantasia. Written during the summer of 1680, Purcell’s “15 Fantazias” have survived as a manuscript copy found in the British Museum.
