Owen J. Roberts School District invites public input into shaping the future. The district is required to provide the state with an appraisal of all facilities and their ability to meet both current and planned educational program needs. This process, known as a feasibility study, is designed to gather, analyze and explore various ideas to accommodate future enrollment projections and 21st Century learning opportunities. The steering committee hopes to draw feedback from as many residents, businesses and community-based organizations as possible using several methods to elicit feedback. The Town Hall meeting will offer an opportunity for residents to learn and work in small group settings face-to-face. In addition to the Town Hall meeting, another opportunity to express ideas will be through a survey available online. Residents may join the conversation right away at the OJR forum page found under the community tab on the district website or by going to http://ojrforum.ojrsd.com. Information surrounding the study may be found on the website including many articles that are relevant to 21st Century education practice, facility needs, and combined-use concepts.
