REACH Luncheon: Strong Hearts, Strong Women

Join us at this special REACH Luncheon in honor of American Heart Month—a celebration of knowledge, empowerment, and whole-person well-being.


This Luncheon will feature 2 speakers:

Dr. Carol Henwood will share her mission-driven path into medicine and why she chose women’s health, how women can advocate for themselves at every age and stage, and practical guidance for managing wellness proactively, along with meaningful ways to support friends, colleagues, and loved ones who may be navigating a challenging or uncertain time—whether through emotional encouragement, resource-sharing, or simply showing up with empathy. Dr. Henwood believes deeply in patient-centered, comprehensive care, emphasizing that every woman deserves to be an active partner in her own health journey. Her philosophy is simple yet powerful: whatever your concern or diagnosis, you will be supported by a team committed to helping you create a healthier tomorrow, and she will lead an inspiring conversation designed to uplift, educate, and empower.

Attendees will also hear from Amy Cavaliere, who will share her powerful personal story. Amy survived a heart attack and cardiac arrest on February 2017, an experience that transformed her into a passionate advocate for the American Heart Association and women’s heart health. Her story is a moving reminder of the importance of awareness, early action, and self-advocacy when it comes to heart health.
 

We encourage attendees to wear red for this luncheon in support of women’s heart health.

Guests are encouraged to bring a low-sodium soup item, which will be donated to a local food bank.
