Why Attend: You will learn about marketing and social media use to create a superstar. Learn how you can use her techniques to build your own organization. This luncheon will feature E. Michele Ramsey, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Communication Art & Sciences and Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies at Penn State Berks, who teaches a class called “Taylor Swift, Gender, and Communication." You will learn:

How Taylor Swift has crafted her own audience.
A look at the impact of TS’s work on women of all ages.
How marketing and social media have helped Taylor’s image.

Dr. Ramsey, who founded the Communication Arts & Sciences minor and major at the college, focuses on political communication, social movements, women's public address and advocation for the humanities. She is the co-author of Major Decisions: College, Career, and the Case for the Humanities.
This is Eileen Dautrich's last REACH Luncheon before her retirement from TCACC. Come out to say goodbye.

Our REACH Mission for this luncheon is a collection for the YWCA Tri-County Area's Dignity Closet. We will be collecting gently used professional or formal attire, handbags, shoes and costume jewelry for women, and any teen appropriate clothes for either gender. You may bring with you to this event.
