Refresh Friday: Employee Wellness Programs
What: Refresh Friday - Setting Up an Employee Wellness Program for Your Business
When: Friday, March 15, 2024
Time: 8:30 AM- 10 AM
Where: Chesmont Conference Center, in Pottstown.
Why Attend: Job seekers and employees expect employers to offer comprehensive benefit packages that go beyond health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. One strategy to building a productive, high performance, and engaged workforce is an employee wellness program. While wellness programs sound like an extra task on already full plates, there are simple, cost-effective, and efficient strategies that can help ensure a healthy workforce, and in return, ensure a healthy business.
Casey Fenoglio, the Director of Community Engagement at Pottstown Hospital, will highlight the business benefits to employee wellness programs, explain how to get the most out of employer sponsored health insurance plans, offer ideas and suggestions for FREE or low-cost wellness initiatives, provide recommendations on community partnerships to assist with implementing the program, and highlight strategies that assist in getting employee buy in.
3 take aways:
- Simple and effective strategies for implementing an employee wellness program.
- Community partner recommendations that can assist with wellness program implementation.
- Employee-centered strategies to ensure employee buy-in for return on investment.
This is part 1 of a 3-part series of Refresh Friday programs that will provide information on Human Resources topics.
