Saree Walk 2024 ~ Walking Beyond Barriers & Smashing Glass Ceilings!

Ladies, get ready to join us for the third edition of our empowering walk celebrating womanhood! 'My Saree, My Story: Walking Beyond Barriers & Smashing Glass Ceilings!' is our collective anthem. We are more than what we wear, and our limits are not defined by barriers. We've always known this truth—now, it’s time to proclaim it proudly! This is our moment. Women must unite, support each other with unwavering resolve, and speak out with confidence—now more than ever. It’s time to step up, claim the respect we deserve, lead with grace and strength, and elevate one another. Together, we will break through barriers and shatter those glass ceilings. The time to claim leadership and extend support to each other is now! We are warriors. We are leaders.  So, slip into your saree (or whatever makes you feel confident) and lace up your sneakers— get ready for a day filled with inspiration and empowerment!

Our walk is all about bringing women of all backgrounds together, showcasing the grit and pride of womanhood, challenging inequalities, and working side by side to create a world where women are respected and treated fairly. This 5K charity fundraiser supports The Crime Victims' Center of Chester County - a local non-profit providing aid to victims of crime and abuse, most of whom are unfortunately women and children. FAQ: Q: What should I bring? A: Wear comfortable clothing—saree or not! Don’t forget your sneakers, hydration, and a snack if you like. Q: What if it rains? A: The event will take place rain or shine, so come prepared for the weather! Q: I’d love to try a saree, but I don’t have one. A: No worries! Wear leggings or jeans with a blouse or crop top—we’ll have sarees and volunteers ready to drape you.
