Summer’s End Festival

Celebrate Summer’s End on Friday, Sept. 14, at Ursinus College with an evening of back-to-school fun and warm memories of the sights, sounds and tastes of summer featuring music, food, marketplace, movies on the lawn and family fun in the Berman Museum!

Highlights

• Live bluegrass music with Rt30 Xpress, plus a special guest performance by Ursinus College Academic Dean Mark Schneider on Olin Plaza 
• Tours of three new exhibitions inside the Berman Museum of Art and a sidewalk chalk creative zone for kids outside
• Local food specialties and unique shopping at the Community Marketplace

The family fun heats up as the sun sets with a final “Movies on the Lawn: The Back to School Edition” featuring Disney’s Monsters University on a NEW, bigger and better movie screen on the front lawn of the Berman Museum at approximately 7:30 pm. Bring a blanket! 

The celebration continues once the kids are settled at home with the Ursinus Fringe Festival. Make a late-night date to enjoy a drag show with “Summer Clearance” (AKA Ursinus Theater Professor Domenick Scudera) and her friends in the Blackbox Studio Theater—one of many creative, unusual and avant-garde performances that audiences of Ursinus Fringe Festival have come to expect.  

Parking will be available from the College’s 5^th Avenue entrance. Parking signs and attendants will be on hand to direct cars to available parking.
