WMCTC Summer Day Camp Session 2
For students entering grades 5 - 8
Course Selections:
- Artist Alive - Bring on your Picasso. Tie Dying, Color Wars (just to name a few activities) and making snack everyday. Be prepared to have some fun!
- Basic First Aid - Want to be a Fireman or EMT? Learn essential basic first aid skills!
- Beauty School Boot Camp - Shampooing, braiding, facials, nail art, manicures, and more!
- Say Watt! - Explore different types of energy to create fun, hands-on projects (Session 2 only)
- Junior Police Cadet Program - Students will experience and participate in various skills taught in Police Academies.
- Rev Up Your Engines - Experience how a race car is built by working as a team to manufacture an actual go-kart! Learn all aspects from start to finish as you build this hot-rod!
- Culinary Camp - Travel the world with food. Students will experience a culinary adventure by creating and testing the limits of new and exciting cultures through food! (Students will make and prepare their own lunch daily)
- Sports Performance Camp - Provides students the opportunity to learn and apply strength and conditioning principles for increasing athletic performance. Students will also learn basic anatomy/physiology, nutrition, proper training techniques, sports medicine skills, endurance, strength/conditioning, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and sport specific exercises.
