YWCA Tri-County Area Bus Trip to ''End of the Rainbow''
Set in 1968 London, "End of the Rainbow" follows Judy Garland late in her life as she struggles with drug and alcohol addiction while performing a series of concerts in hopes of reclaiming her former glory. The show features such Garland classics as "The Man That Got Away," "Come Rain or Come Shine," "The Trolley Song" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
The YWCA Tri-County Area has purchased 47 tickets and is taking a bus to New York City to see this musical. The bus will leave the Redners parking lot, on North Charlotte Street, at 8:30 AM sharp. The cost of the trip is $185 and includes transportation to the restaurant ''etcetera etcetera'' for a wonderful lunch, and then off to the Belasco Theatre to see ''End of the Rainbow'', then arriving back in Pottstown at approximately 8 PM. Water and snacks will be provided for the ride home, but you may also bring your own "small cooler" of food and beverages for the ride to and from New York.
To register contact the YWCA Tri-County Area at 610-323-1888.
