Administrative Assistant to the Administrative Director

Type: Full-Time, 12 month position
Start date: December 2022
The Administrative Assistant performs administrative/secretarial support under limited supervision and on own initiative for the Administrative Director. The Administrative Assistant also provides clerical assistance throughout the school as needed.
- Maintain communication with Superintendents, Directors, Principals, staff, students, parents, and community members.
- Maintain substitute-teaching package: coordinate daily for staff schedules and coverage.
- Serve as the Joint Operating Committee (JOC) recording secretary and produce minutes monthly.
- Preparation of all JOC documentation. Prepares and arranges for advertisements of monthly JOC/Special Board meetings.
- Ensure smooth operation of the Administrative Office.
- Perform clerical duties including but not limited to answering the phone, opening and distributing mail, scheduling appointments and interviews, typing documents, and filing.
- Maintain confidential employee records, updating address, telephone number, name change, as necessary.
- Maintain PERMS and other PA Department of Education records.
- Maintain and process PIMS records for faculty.
- Minimum 3 years secretarial experience required/preferred.
- Maintain school website and social media.
- Acts as Human Resources liaison and performs necessary tasks as needed for Human Resourcing.
