Customer Service Representative

Job Title: Customer Service Representative FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Department: Customer Service

Reports to: Customer Service Director

Position summary: Primarily responsible maintaining an excellent level of customer service to our customers across all channels of distribution (dealer, mass market and national accounts).

General purpose: Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external FlagZone customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as team members within the Customer Service Department.

Position responsibilities:

Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests

Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer

Answers questions from customers or individuals on how a product operates or directs them to the person that is able to assist them.

Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures

Follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates

Provide customers with quotes for stock items utilizing our SAGE system and custom items as defined in the custom quote module.

Process customers returns according to established department policies and procedures

Work closely with the credit departments to resolve disrupted credit items

Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns

Essential skills and experience:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Speak, read, and write English fluently

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must be familiar with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience with SAGE a plus but not necessary.

Strong team player with high performance objectives

Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks

Commitment to company values and goals

Ability to report to worksite at scheduled times

The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
