Full Job Description

We are eager to add new talent to our team and have an immediate full-time opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist in any of ARRO’s offices. The HR Generalist is responsible for facilitating human resource functions including but not limited to policy coordination, wage and salary administration, benefits, employee relations, career development and compliance.

Core job duties:

  • Develops and implements personnel policy and procedure to ensure legal compliance
  • Develops and maintains wage and salary program, keeping abreast of labor market trends
  • Manages payroll and compensation programs
  • Maintains employee benefit plans; optimizes plan for greatest utilization of benefits budget
  • Administers 401(K), pension, workers compensation, and all necessary federal and state reporting
  • Develops career development program, maintains performance evaluation process, and assists with employee retention strategies
  • Assists with recruitment
  • Resolves employee issues and assists employees with HR matters
  • Other responsibilities related to personnel, hiring, benefits, payroll, wellness, policy, and safety

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a four-year college curriculum in Human Resources or related field.
  • Solid understanding of human resources laws, principles and practices.
  • Superior organizational skills; strong attention to detail with the ability to identify problem areas proactively.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of payroll process system.
  • Customer service oriented; the ability to interact with senior level executives, and drive results across all company functions
  • Initiative to take prompt, self-directed action to accomplish objectives
  • Capable of leading a team in performing necessary functions.
  • Capable of interacting and reporting to senior executive personnel.
