The Payroll Administrator is responsible for all aspects of payroll processing and preparation in a fast-paced environment for all domestic US employees operating in multiple states. The Administrator ensures accuracy and efficiency of multi-state payrolls, levels of customer service, data integrity, and calculating special payments consistent with local, state, and federal wage and hour laws.
Essential Duties
- Perform all activities necessary to process weekly payrolls, including filing tax reports, processing levies and garnishment, reviewing ADP integration data for accuracy, preparing payroll transactions, and preparing special reports.
- Ensure company payroll matters are anticipated and addressed in a proactive fashion. Acts as primary liaison with payroll vendor.
- Prepare all payroll-related reports and distribute them to appropriate departments (HR, Accounts Payable, etc.).
- Prepare federal, state, and local payroll tax returns on a quarterly basis.
- Process 401K contributions and payments.
- Monitor submissions of time and attendance records. Coordinates with managers to ensure approval process is followed.
Education
- High School Diploma
- Associates Degree in Business preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years’ work experience in payroll/accounting role
- ADP Payroll expertise preferred
- Experience managing multi-state payroll required
- Intermediate Excel skills required
- Experience with tax withholding familiarity and garnishment processes and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information

Pay: $34,540.05 - $80,942.92 per year
