Direct Support Professional - Residential and Day Program

Helping Hands is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work in our Residential Community Programs located in Pottstown and Perkiomenville. We are also hiring for our Adult Day Program in Bechtelsville. We are seeking compassionate, reliable staff to work with physical and intellectual disabled adults. We provide and pay for all training.

$15.00 - $17.50 per hour (overnight awake/weekend hours)

$250.00 signing bonus Full Time/$125.00 signing bonus Part Time (after 90 days)

Pre Employment Requirements: Valid PA Driver’s License, High School Diploma or GED, Drug Screening Test, PA Criminal Record Check (FBI Check if from out of state), Staff Physical

Some responsibilities include:

• Direct Support and Professional care
• Support of daily living, personal hygiene assistance
• Transportation to workshop and community based activities

• Wednesday- 2:30 PM-11pm- week 1
• Saturday- 4pm-11pm Saturday 11pm- 12pm (asleep 11pm-7am)

• Week 1- 3pm-11pm- Friday
• Week 1- 11pm-7am-Friday- asleep
• Week 1- 7am-12pm-5- Saturday
• Week 2- 3pm-7pm-4 Sunday
