Job Requirements

  • The professional knowledge and skills necessary to assist in the planning for the Resident Care Department in accordance with the current state, federal and local standards to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and manages monthly scheduling of all nursing staff.
  • Monitors medication technicians and compliance with medication passes. Obtain med tech certification, practicum observer certification and Med Trainer certification as soon as permitted by regulation
  • Assist with the scheduling and tracking of monthly staff trainings
  • Participates in the direct care of residents on an as needed basis
  • A high school diploma and if an LPN, graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and at least two years’ experience in a geriatric setting and previous health experience in hospital and or community setting.
  • Certificates/ Licenses: Current Driver’s License, C.N.A. or Medication Technician preferred. CPR and First Aid preferred
  • Working knowledge of computer systems to include Word and Excel
