The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, in partnership with MontcoWorks, is seeking employers for the Summer 2026 Montco RISE internship program!

The Montgomery County Real-World Internship Skills & Experiences (RISE) Program needs employers in all industries to provide placements for rising high school seniors, high school graduates and college students ages 17-24. The Montco RISE team reviews intern and employer applications to determine best matches, and then the employer meets with the selected intern(s) to confirm the fit of the placement. 
Opportunity Details

• Montco RISE is seeking employers to provide full-time or part-time, summer internship positions with businesses and non-profits.
• This 6-8 week fall internship program will run from late May through August 2026; start and end dates are individually determined by the availability of both the matched intern and organization. 
• Interns are paid up to $18 per hour through our program and funding at no cost to you. Montco RISE pays the hourly wages and provides interns with worker’s compensation.

• Employers can develop their talent pipeline by supporting a Montco RISE intern.
• Interns will take part in Internship Readiness Training prior to starting their internship placement so they come to you ready to engage and learn!

• Must be an employer in Montgomery County, PA.
• Willing to engage interns in meaningful work-based learning opportunities.
