Advanced Comfort Specialists Announces Gavin Milligan as Shareholder and General Manager

CUMRU TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Advanced Comfort Specialists, Inc. (ACS), an HVAC contractor based in Cumru Township, announced today that Gavin Milligan of Maidencreek Township has acquired a 49 percent ownership interest in the company and has been promoted to General Manager. President Chad Milligan, who founded ACS in 2004, will own the remaining 51 percent stake.

The ownership and leadership changes are part of a planned transition as Vice President Paul Catanzaro, Sr., prepares for retirement in 2027. Catanzaro will remain in his role as Vice President and continue serving as the company’s second-in-command until his official retirement. Following that transition, he will remain involved as a part-time design consultant supporting estimating and project planning.

Catanzaro joined ACS 13 years ago and brings nearly four decades of HVAC installation, service, and design experience. During his tenure, he helped establish the company’s technical foundation and supported growth across both residential and commercial operations.

Gavin Milligan has been on the Advanced Comfort Specialists leadership team since 2021, serving as Business Development Manager following a career in sales, marketing, and communications. As General Manager, he now oversees daily operations, business development, and long-term planning while working closely with Chad Milligan and Paul Catanzaro.

“This is the beginning of a very long chapter in my life,” Gavin Milligan said. “My focus is on making and keeping ACS the first HVAC company people think of and making sure we deliver in the best way every time. Chad Milligan said the changes were made with continuity in mind.

“Our customers want consistency and accountability,” he said. “This structure keeps leadership clear and familiar while putting Gavin in a position to build the experience he’ll need to acquire the company outright when I retire.”

Advanced Comfort Specialists will continue operating with the same leadership team, service standards, and operating approach that have guided the company for more than two decades.
