Bruce K. Foulke, American Heritage President & CEO, Recognized by South Jersey Biz

PHILADELPHIA– February 3, 2026 – Bruce K. Foulke, President & CEO of American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”), has been recognized by South Jersey Biz in their 2026 list of Top CEOs and CFOs. Foulke has served as American Heritage’s President & CEO for 47 years, guiding the organization through immense growth and expanding credit union services and access throughout the Delaware Valley and southern New Jersey.

South Jersey Biz’s list honors “the leading executives who are helping transform the way business is conducted in South Jersey.” This recognition comes as American Heritage closes out a strong 2025, where the organization crossed $5 billion in assets. Additionally, American Heritage expanded its presence in Southern New Jersey through the acquisition of three LINKBANK branches. As the leading executive, Foulke was instrumental in the success and accomplishment of both endeavors.

When Foulke started his career with American Heritage, formerly known as the Budd Workers Federal Credit Union, the organization had $4 million in assets. To date, American Heritage has surpassed $5 billion in assets. Some of his other notable achievements throughout his tenure include helping expand American Heritage’s Workplace Partner network and opening more than 35 branches throughout Bucks, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties, as well as the city of Philadelphia, in Pennsylvania, and Southern New Jersey. Foulke has also helped American Heritage to serve a member base of more than 325,000 and be recognized as one of the 70 largest credit unions in the country by membership.

One of Foulke’s most notable achievements includes the founding of the Kids-N-Hope Foundation (“Kids-N-Hope”). In doing so, American Heritage became the first credit union in the United States to form its own nonprofit organization. Kids-N-Hope raises funds for pediatric health and life services, such as music therapy, for local hospitals and nonprofit organizations. Kids-N-Hope has helped to fund the music therapy program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. To date, Kids-N-Hope has raised more than $5.1 million, helped more than 10,000 children, and held more than 110 community events.

“It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized by South Jersey Biz and amongst such distinguished company,” said Foulke. “As I reflect upon my time with American Heritage, I am immensely proud of all we have accomplished. The credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’ has remained at the heart of everything we do. Our success wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and work of each and every one of our associates, and I also thank our Board of Directors for their endless support and guidance.”

“We are incredibly proud of all Bruce has accomplished as the President & CEO of American Heritage,” said Gary Weyhmuller, Chairman of American Heritage’s Board of Directors. “His expertise and leadership have helped American Heritage reach the success it has achieved. He is a true pioneer in the financial services industry and has served as a mentor to many throughout his tenure.
