Boyertown Area Progress Dinner Celebrates Community Growth and Honors Local Leadership
BOYERTOWN, PA — The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce (TCACC) proudly hosted the 2026 Boyertown Area Progress Dinner on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at La Massaria at Bella Vista. The annual event brought together business leaders, community members, and local organizations to celebrate the continued growth, investment, and success of the Boyertown area.
The evening began with a cocktail hour and networking opportunity, followed by dinner and a program highlighting key initiatives and positive momentum throughout the community.
The program opened with a welcome from TCACC President Harrison Santangelo, followed by sponsor and legislator recognition led by Greg Herb of Herb Real Estate, Inc.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2026 James K. Boyer Quality of Life Award, presented by Robert Varga of Boyertown Area Multi-Service, Inc. This year’s recipient, Ellen Martignetti, Main Street Manager for Building a Better Boyertown, was honored for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to revitalizing and strengthening the Boyertown community.
The program also featured the annual Boyertown Area Progress Dinner telecommunications showcase video, “The Sound of Progress,” produced by William Cherkasky and students from Boyertown Area Senior High School (BASH). The video highlighted inspiring local stories of growth and progress, including updates from the Boyertown Community Library, the continued expansion of the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles and its new carriage barn, and the success of Nae Nae’s Cakery—a business founded by a BASH alum that has quickly gained popularity while making a meaningful impact locally. Dr. Scott Davidheiser, Superintendent of the Boyertown Area School District, also participated in the program, reinforcing the importance of education and community collaboration in supporting regional growth.
The evening was further enhanced by the presence of representatives, including Berks County Commissioners Christian Leinbach and Michael Rivera, as well as Braden Bartman from the Office of State Senator Tracy Pennycuick. Their participation added a special significance to the event, as they presented official recognitions and certifications, helping to honor the achievements celebrated throughout the night and making the occasion even more memorable for all in attendance.
The evening concluded with a 50/50 drawing, door prize, and closing remarks. Proceeds from the 50/50 benefit the Richard L. Graver FBLA Scholarship, through which the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce annually awards $1,000 to a Boyertown Area Senior High School student pursuing a career in business, a vocational field, or another professional path.
“The Boyertown Area Progress Dinner continues to be a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the people, organizations, and businesses shaping the future of our community,” said Harrison Santangelo, President of TCACC. “It’s inspiring to come together each year to recognize the individuals and initiatives that make the Boyertown area such a vibrant place to live, work, and do business.”
TCACC extends its sincere appreciation to the event sponsors whose generous support made the evening possible.
