Twin Ponds Golf Club Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for New Overlook Deck in Gilbertsville, PA

Twin Ponds Golf Club, a cherished, family-owned destination in Montgomery County since 1963, proudly unveiled their brand-new deck, offering sweeping views of the course’s scenic landscape.

The new 900-foot deck enhances the experience for golfers and guests alike, providing a relaxing space to take in the beauty that has made Twin Ponds a local favorite for generations. Known as a hidden gem in the region, the course features seven water holes, gently rolling terrain, and well-bunkered greens that challenge players of all skill levels.

“This new deck is an exciting addition for our community,” said Twin Ponds Manager, Jessica Korne. “For over 60 years, Twin Ponds has been a place where families, friends, and organizations come together. This space gives everyone a new way to enjoy the course—whether you’re finishing a round, attending an event, or simply taking in the view.”

In addition to daily play, Twin Ponds Golf Course proudly hosts dozens of charitable outings each season, reinforcing its longstanding commitment to giving back and bringing people together.

The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Friday, April 10, 2026 and was performed by Harrison Santangelo from Tri-County Area Chamber of Commerce, with local officials, community members, and loyal patrons in attendance. Special thanks to Senator Tracy Pennycuick, House Leader Donna Scheuren and Theresa Heist, President of Building a Better Boyertown for their attendance and support. Guests enjoyed light refreshments and live music as the setting sun further enhanced the bucolic view. All in all, it was a perfect night! Nestled in western Montgomery County, Twin Ponds Golf Course is one of PA's best kept secrets. The property was converted from a generational dairy farm to a golf course in 1963, by proprietors Donnie and Shirley Hoffman. Now in its 3rd generation, it has been family owned and operated ever since.
At 5,646 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70, the course features seven water holes and many well bunkered undulating greens which will challenge even the best golfers yet satisfy golfers of all abilities. The course has a course rating of 65.5 and a slope rating of 111.

Saturday and Sunday : 6 AM - Sunset
The clubhouse menu features soups, salads, cheesesteaks and other food specials. Enjoy Summer nights on the deck, with special Summer Fridays May-August.
