American Heritage was identified as #16 in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s July 2026 List
PHILADELPHIA – August 20, 2026 – American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) was recently identified on Philadelphia Business Journal’s list of Fastest Growing Commercial Lenders. American Heritage was recognized as #16 on the list in the Credit Union category.
This recognition honors credit unions and banks that have a thorough and successful commercial lending process. American Heritage has a robust portfolio of commercial lending, offering businesses products such as commercial loans, small business loans, and business credit card options that come with unique rewards and benefits. These options allow business owners to make their entrepreneurial dreams a reality and afford equipment, day-to-day operations, property, and more.
“Our Commercial Lending department established itself as one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic commercial lending organizations in the market,” said William Mello, Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending for American Heritage Credit Union. “This momentum is a testament to the strength of our team, the trust business members place in us, and our unwavering commitment to delivering financial solutions with speed, flexibility, and exceptional service. We built a premier commercial banking platform designed to help businesses thrive, create lasting relationships, and drive economic growth throughout the Philadelphia region.”
Only institutions headquartered in Philadelphia were considered for the Philadelphia Business Journal’s list. Qualifying institutions also needed to reflect a commercial and industrial balance at the conclusion of 2026’s first quarter. All information on the list was obtained by the National Credit Union Administration. Credit unions throughout Philadelphia totaled more than $2.9 billion in combined commercial loans as of March 31, 2026, reflecting a 9.56% increase from the same time period in 2025.
“I am incredibly proud of the tireless work and success of our Commercial Lending team,” said Bruce K. Foulke, President & CEO of American Heritage Credit Union. “Will and his entire team have developed excellent relationships with our commercial partners and have allowed this portion of our business model to thrive.
