Tompkins Bank & Trust Hires Josh Oswald as Small Business Lending Manager

Wyomissing, PA (September 22, 2026) – In an effort to support ongoing economic and small business development in the region, Tompkins Bank & Trust (Tompkins) has hired Josh Oswald as small business lending manager to support its Pennsylvania market. Oswald will manage key aspects of small business lending, delivering high-quality support to Tompkins’ 16 branches throughout the state.

“Supporting small businesses is central to the Tompkins mission,” said Todd Ferrara, vice president, small business line manager at Tompkins, who will oversee Oswald’s work. “Josh brings deep expertise and guidance for business owners to help them navigate a complex economic landscape and plan for their success and future growth.”

Oswald joins the Tompkins team with over 18 years of banking and finance experience, most recently serving with Discovery Federal Credit Union. In his new role, he will review and approve small business loan requests and assist with portfolio management for existing Tompkins clients, as well as deliver high-quality small business banking products to the community.

Oswald earned a bachelor’s degree from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He is a board member of ProBerco, a nonprofit enriching the lives of people with disabilities and their families, as well as a board member and treasurer for Wyomissing Area Softball & Baseball. Oswald currently resides in Wyomissing with his wife and two daughters.
