GRCA Supervisor Training Module 2: Managing Performance & Developing Employees
If this year has shown us anything, it is the importance of strong leadership - a business cannot navigate unprecedented, challenging times without an effective leader. We are very excited to be partnering with Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) to offer the Supervisor Training certificate program to Chamber Members. If you are preparing an employee to transition into a supervisory role, this training will equip them with the tools and knowledge necessary to become an effective leader that will navigate your team and company to success.
Module 2: Managing Performance & Developing Employees kicks off on Wednesday, February 24 and continues every following Wednesday through March 31. Each session is from 8:30AM to 11:30AM and registrants have the option to attend in-person or virtually - they can skip the commute and learn from the comfort of their office or home! Topics covered in Module 2 include:
- Managing a diverse workplace
- Motivating & recognizing employees
- Developing & coaching others
- Delegating effectively
- Creating performance standards & documenting performance
- Providing performance feedback
GRCA Supervisor Training is split into 3 modules. You are required to complete all 3 (in any order) to
receive the certificate of completion, but you may still participate in any of them individually if you are not interested in receiving the certification. TCACC is offering a $300 scholarship to first-time Supervisor Training participants (can only be applied to one module)! Below are starting dates for upcoming modules - each module repeats for 6 weeks:
