Kiss A Pig Finale

Cocktails, Hors d’oeuvres, Contests, Competitions, Live & Silent Auction.

Enjoy a complete program of special events and enjoy seeing who our 2017 Pig Kissers are going to be.

History

The Kiss-A-Pig idea began with a Boys & Girls Club in Tampa, Florida.  In 1994, Olivet Boys & Girls Club began a contest of our own.  The contest began as a way to raise funds and increase the awareness of Olivet Boys & Girls Club throughout Reading and Berks County. Since the contest’s inception, Olivet Boys & Girls Club has been able to recruit local business and community leaders to compete for the “honor” of kissing a pig owned by Ms. Kim Miller. To date, the Kiss-A-Pig contest has been one of the most successful fundraisers for the Club, raising over one million dollars!

How it works

Kiss-A-Pig Candidates compete to raise the most money for Olivet Boys & Girls Club. Candidates do this by communicating with their contacts, holding contests, sponsoring events, involving their employees, friends, neighbors, vendors and others, and using their enthusiasm and creativity. The three Candidates who raise the most money will kiss Miss Maycie May the pig at Olivet’s annual Cocktail Party on June 5th, 2017 at the First Energy Stadium.

All funds raised support the mission of Olivet Boys & Girls Club: to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as healthy, productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Olivet Boys & Girls Club provides year-round programming for thousands of at-risk youth ages 6 to 18 through a variety of opportunities in eight Club locations, Our Club kids participate in numerous activities and programs that enrich their lives and help make them successful  students, athletes and citizens.

The real winners of the Kiss-A-Pig Campaign are the Olivet Club kids who benefit from the funds and friends raised through this one-of-a-kind contest!
