Laura Otten, Director of The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University, will present on Corporate Social Responsibility. Laura will discuss how nonprofits and businesses can partner to ensure that Corporate Social Responsibility is not simply a buzz phrase, but represents a true win/win scenario that advances the businesses, its employees and the community.

She will explore how volunteerism builds leadership, contributes to employee productivity and satisfaction, the key role board service plays in CSR, and steps employers can take to better assure that board service will be a satisfactory experience for all sides of the equation.
