Young Professionals: Thanksgiving Meal Distribution
This event is for young professionals ages 21 - 40.
TCACC Membership is not required for young professional events.
Join fellow young professionals for a few hours of volunteer service at Boyertown Area Multi-Service to distribute non-perishable, pre-packaged Thanksgiving Meals. It is anticipated that there will be roughly 225-250 bags of food being distributed this afternoon.
Tasks available that day include:
- Traffic Directing
- Transport of Pre-Packed bags out back
- Client Check-In:
- If someone is a pantry client, we need to mark off that they’ve received a meal.
- If someone is not already a pantry client, they are required to fill out a TEFAP form for Multi-Service's records.
- Disbursement of Food:
- Someone on the back of the truck handing bags to those below.
- Or someone running turkeys from walk-in freezer inside, as needed.
- Cardboard breakdown:
- Cases of turkeys or butter that need to be broken down as they come out of the freezer.
