Job description:
Lehigh Valley construction company is accepting applications for Commercial Carpenters. Experience in framing, finish carpentry and doors & hardware a plus. All applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Job Duties:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Understanding customer requirements
- Recommending job improvements, alternative methods, etc. (problem solve)
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
- Knowledge of woods and their uses and adaptability
- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
- Experience in installing commercial doors and hardware
- Casework installation experience
- Experience in the operation of high reaches
