Building Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Maintenance professional to join our team. As a Building Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions and breakdowns
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of building systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area

- A Jack All Trades, resourceful, hard working, and great at applying common sense solutions to keep the building looking sharp while saving the company money by minimizing deferred maintenance costs and avoiding expensive third party vendor service calls.

Requirements

- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of technical sales, stick welding, logic controllers, industrial mechanics, and precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and their maintenance requirements
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and external contractors
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for emergency repairs
