Drain Technician

A Plumbing/ Drain career where you can grow as a professional. We are looking for someone with experience. We are looking for a Plumber who also has experience with Drain Cleaning. You will be expected to do plumbing or drains on any given day. We currently do more plumbing per day. This role is more of a backup on the drain side of calls. However, we need someone that is proficient in both plumbing and drains.

Sometimes these adds say five years' experience or ten years' experience required. That doesn't mean the applicant was taught the right way or ideals. Just because you have years in the trade. That doesn't necessarily make you more qualified than a younger, harder working candidate with a great attitude. Who was taught both ethically and technically correct. We are looking for someone who gets it. They can work well in an environment with others. We do not put up with the kiddie stuff. We do not play favorites. There is no cliques. No time for bullying. We provide a fair work environment. Those who perform will be rewarded for doing so. We are a tight knit group of men and woman who has each other's backs. Anyone who joins the crew needs to work hard and have a great attitude. If you can do that. You will fit right in. You do not need to be the smartest or most technical. Earn up to $80,000.00- $100,000 per year or more. No Nights or Weekends!

Plumbing Employment Responsibilities:

~ Plumbing Maintenance and Service

• Demonstrates and establishes effective working relationships with co-workers, management, customers and vendors.
• Properly completes all paperwork required for each job.
• Maintains cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.
• Maintains high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Needs to be well rounded in Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
• Experience in residential plumbing and drains.
• Able to put in a water heater, or clear a sewer line.

General Daily Tasks:

• Performs all duties in an efficient and safe manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable to work schedules and work assignments as defined by the company.
• Have professionalism, personal integrity, and respect for others.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, stoop, reach and travel to locations.
• Operate vehicle safe and responsible
• Arrive on time
• Communicate well with office and customers

Qualifications:

• Plumbing maintenance and service experience.
• Not everyone knows everything about plumbing. We all continuously learn. At Avanti everyone needs to be mechanical and able to adapt and learn.
• Able to diagnose different clogged drain scenarios and clear the drain.
• Able to use different drain cleaning equipment

Skills and Abilities

• Must have knowledge of safety rules and requirements.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must possess knowledge of various systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
