(Pottstown, PA) – On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. donated funds to TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce Member schools and their foundations.

During 2024 the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. was excited to receive three different contributions from Chamber Member businesses.  The last quarter of the year brought in a $10,000 donation from Martin Stone Quarries, Inc. and a $2500 donation from QNB Bank, and $2500 from Tompkins in December.

Martin Stone Quarries, Inc.’s generous $10,000 contribution was earmarked for the welding department at Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center.  Rod and Trevor Martin from Martin Stone Quarries, Inc. and Eileen Dautrich representing the TriCounty Chamber Foundation, visited the welding department at WMCTC on November 22 to present the $10,000, meet the students and share with them the news of the opportunity for new equipment in their department. 

Additional checks were presented at the December 11 Chamber Membership Breakfast.  Each of the following TriCounty Chamber Member School Districts received a $500 check: Berks Career and Technology Center, Foundation for Boyertown Education, Foundation for Pottstown Education, Pottsgrove School District, and Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center.
 
The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. was created in 2002 and maintains a Pennsylvania designation as an Educational Improvement Organization (EIO).  As an EIO, when a business donates to a non-profit organization with the designation they can receive state corporate tax credits.  Since its inception the funding donated to the TriCounty Chamber Foundation has been distributed to public schools and technical schools that are Members of the Chamber and designated for funding vocational, career-development programming.  For more information pertaining to the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. please visit tricountyareachamber.com or contact the Chamber office at 610.326.2900.
