About Us

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Region of the American Red Cross is part of the largest and most diverse service organization in the United States. We serve approximately 4.2 million people in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties. We provide food and shelter in emergencies, assist members of our armed forces and their families, teach lifesaving skills, and more. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.

Our Mission: The Southeastern Pennsylvania region seeks to fulfill, on a regional level, the American Red Cross mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. We are guided by seven fundamental principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.
